Generate Inventory Reports.
  1. Create an Inventory Count export from Quickbooks (see instructions below).
  2. Click the Choose File or Browse button below. This will open a file window.
  3. Browse to where you saved the export on your computer and double click the export.
  4. Select which type of report you want to create.
  5. Click the Generate button.
  6. Once your report is generated, you will be prompted to save it to your computer.
  7. It will save as an Excel spreadsheet. You may need to format some columns.

Creating a Quickbooks Export
  1. Open Quickbooks.
  2. Go to the Reports Center.
  3. Click on the "Memorized Tab"
  4. Click on the Inventory category to the left
  5. Click the Inventory Count Export to show it's controls
  6. Click the Display Report icon (looks like a text page)
  7. The report will open.
  8. Click Export at the top of the report
  9. An export box opens.
  10. Make sure use "a comma separated values (.csv) file" is selected.
  11. Click Export
  12. You'll be asked where to save the export file.
  13. Save it in the S&S Database in the INVENTORY folder (X:\DATA\DOCUMENT\SANDS\INVENTORY)
